Inspiration Tour to Asia: Seoul & an Overdose of Cuteness 💖🇰🇷
In September, I was incredibly lucky to attend an inspiration tour to Asia, and our very first destination was Seoul, South Korea. From the moment we arrived, I knew this city was going to leave a mark on me.
And honestly? I got a full overdose of cuteness.
I don’t even know where to begin — the characters, the colors, the tiny details Koreans pour into everyday life. Cute creatures appear everywhere: cafés, shops, packaging, street art. It’s not just a style, it’s a whole visual language. And as a creative soul, I was completely swept away.
One of the highlights happened totally by surprise. Right across the street from our hotel stood what I can only describe as a Barbie (or “Nini”) doll house— spread across several floors. Yes, several floors. And yes, it even included a full bedroom setupinside.
When I discovered this place, my dopamine levels went through the roof. 😍 It felt like stepping straight into a dream world built entirely out of imagination, playfulness, and design joy.
I stood there thinking: Of course this exists here.
This is exactly why I love traveling for inspiration. Seeing how other cultures express creativity — especially in such unapologetically joyful ways — feeds my own artistry more than anything else. Seoul reminded me that creativity doesn’t always have to be “serious” to be powerful. Sometimes, it just needs to be cute, playful, and bold.
